§ 14-32. Trespassing unlawful; exceptions.

In order to protect the rights of the property owner, it shall be unlawful for persons, other than named in this section, to trespass upon any seawall, dike, or any protective barrier governed by this article, except the following:
(1)

The supervisor and/or township enforcement officer. Unless appointed separately by the township board, the enforcement officer assumes the duties and responsibilities of the dike inspectors.

(2)

Dike inspectors as created in this article.

(3)

All persons acting under the authority of or at the direction of the enforcement officer, supervisor, dike inspectors, or the township board, through its emergency powers.
